USO 10 Miler, 5K and Fun Run

Join us for the Tenth Annual USO Ten Miler, 5K, and Free Fun Run!

All signs point to in-person racing again for the race! We moved the 2021 race from March to October to be more comfortable with an in-person race. We’re excited that it looks like we can proceed!

We’ll be racing on Fort Campbell, KY once again. The races will begin and end at the Division Parade Field (6390 Desert Storm Avenue). We welcome military and civilian runners! (Civilians, we will have detailed instructions for gaining access to the installation!)

To celebrate the TENTH ANNUAL event, we are giving each Ten Miler and 5K participant a tee shirt! There will also be a finisher’s medal for those races. The Fun Runners will receive a mini bottle of bubbles to celebrate their event.

COURSES

The Ten Miler is the same route as some of the previous years. We’ll head down Market Garden, then down the hill into the scenic Georgia/Ohio/West End/East End loop. And since we went down a hill, we’re going to have to climb back up the hill along Mabry Road at about mile 7, then we’ll turn back down Market Garden for the run back to the finish.

The 5K loop will start out along the 10 Miler route, but then turn down Screaming Eagle Blvd and again down Desert Storm Avenue (past the USO!) and then turn into the finish line.

The Fun Run is just under a mile and it is the loop around the Division Parade Field.

FAQs

Strollers are welcome on all three courses.

Kids on bikes are welcome on the 10 Miler and 5K courses, but please take extreme caution to keep all runners safe. Since it is a chip timed event, we will start any families with kids on bikes a few minutes after the bulk of the runners so the young cyclists won’t have to navigate around groups of runners.

We will post packet pick up information as we near the race date.

Race day participants will enjoy a lively start/finish line area, on-course water stops and portable latrines, and post-race snacks and beverages.
