Santa Paws Brings Smiles to Pups of Military Families at Fort Campbell

Dogs have a remarkable ability to bring happiness and comfort to those around them. Their wagging tails, loyal eyes, and playful spirits can brighten even the darkest days. Whether they’re greeting us at the door, offering comfort during tough moments, or simply sitting by our side, dogs remind us of the power of unconditional love and connection.
Recognizing this unique bond, the USO developed the Canine Core Program, which highlights the role of therapy and companion animals in supporting service members and their families. These furry friends don’t just make people smile—they also help reduce stress, ease homesickness, and build community within the military.
This holiday season, the spirit of togetherness was on full display at the USO Fort Campbell Santa Paws Event. The festive gathering brought families, service members, and their adorable dogs together for a fun-filled evening of photos with Santa, holiday treats, and plenty of tail wags. It was a heartwarming way to kick off the season, creating cherished memories and celebrating the joy dogs bring into our lives.
Thank you to everyone who participated, especially the four-legged stars of the show. Events like these remind us that joy comes in many forms—and sometimes, it has paws!
