We’re thrilled to share the exciting news—the Grand Re-Opening of the USO Music Room at Fort Campbell officially took place on Wednesday, April 9th, and it was a celebration to remember!

Thanks to the incredible support of Amazon Web Services, Lowe’s Home Improvement off of Lowe’s Dr., and our generous donors, the Music Room has been completely transformed into a vibrant, creative space where service members can jam, record, learn, and unwind. Whether you’re a seasoned musician or just picking up an instrument for the first time, this space is designed to inspire and connect.

A Celebration to Remember

We marked the grand opening in true USO style—with live performances by Nashville artists Jimmy Charles and Eric Burgett, a delicious lunch provided by U.S. Bank, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring some very special guests.

We were honored to welcome:

  • • Col. Midberry, Fort Campbell Garrison Commander
  • • Lisa Marie Riggins, President, USO Southeast Region
  • • Liz Martin, Managing Director of DOD Programs, AWS

Their presence helped us kick off this exciting new chapter for our musical community with energy, gratitude, and joy.

More Than Just Music

Music is more than a pastime—it’s a powerful stress reliever, a creative outlet, and a way to build connections and community. This newly renovated space will allow service members not only to relax and recharge but also to explore the basics of the music industry—a thriving field just down the road in Nashville, the heart of country music.

Whether it’s recording a first track, collaborating with fellow musicians, or simply strumming away the stress of a long day, the USO Music Room is now a place where our heroes can find harmony and connection.
